out of this world
out of this life
forever in the shadows
in the corridor of dreams
child of the night
alone and cold

endless
the day
endless
the night
twin suns
of darkness
illuminate
the future
the sands
of time
cover
the past
a life to know
a life to end
a game to win is
a game to loose
a play of hopes is
a play of tears

come from above
come from below
come as the wind
or
come as the rain
into the night
or in
bright daylight
come to stir me
come to still me

to be forever unknown
as the lights go out
as the fog crawls
through the trees
through the empty buildings
underneath the skin
as the day dies
as the wind
blows out the candles
the circles of the night
gather

as the outer light fades
the dark corridors
echo the screams
no time to hide
no chance to forget
as all colours melt
we enter the pandemonium

falling angels
the death of the sun
eclipsed…
to be reborn

fly closer to the sun
stay forever
into the flames
fly closer to the sun
burn forever
to be reborn

on a day like today
dreams revealed
in books never written
lives out of sight
corridors full of souls
bound for heaven
bound for hell

the black dawn
the black sunrise
will come
wonder alone
hiding in shadows
turn to stone
remain forever still
